After heavy overnight falls on the Illawarra coast (see story yesterday), there were scattered heavy falls again today along the length of the NSW coastline. Among the more notable falls were 50mm at Narooma on the South Coast between 9am and 3pm, and 45.8mm in 30 minutes to 11pm at Narara, just north of Gosford on the Central Coast. A moist, unstable easterly airflow continues to bring slow-moving, heavy showers and small rain areas onto the coast. |
