Late morning: The main floodwaters from the Macintyre River and the Dumaresq River are near Yetman and Bonshaw respectively. These combined flood waters are expected to reach Boggabilla Thursday morning with Minor flooding. The Severn River at Ashford had its third peak at 3.5 metres at 8.30 pm last night with Minor flooding, and is now falling. The Macintyre River at Yetman had its second peak at 5.96 metres around mid-night last with Minor flooding. It is expected to remain close to this level for the next few hours.

Late afternoon: The river levels at Ashford & Yetman in the Macintyre System are still at minor flooding, but have started to fall this afternoon

FLOOD WARNING FOR THE MACINTYRE RIVER  Brisbane. Moderate flooding is occurring in the Macintyre River at Goondinwindi. The river level at Goondiwindi was 7.25 metres and steady at 9am this morning. River level rises are expected to continue during today at Goondiwindi, reaching a peak of about 8 metres during Thursday morning. In the Macintyre River upstream of the junction with the Dumeresq River, river levels are steady at Yetman Bridge with minor flooding. Further upstream all river levels are falling and minor flooding easing. River rises are occurring in the lower reaches of the Dumeresq River with flood levels at Bengalla expected to reach the minor flood level late today. High river levels in the Goondiwindi area are expected to be maintained during Thursday as these upstream floodwaters arrive.
