NEWSBITS: Tropical Cyclone Bonnie develops north of WA; Heavy storms in SE WA; Warm conditions continue in NSW, SA

NEWSBITS: Category 1 cyclone Bonnie developed about 500km north of the WA Kimberley coast overnight and moved slowly westwards today, deepening to about 990hPa. It had no effect on the Australian mainland, but heavy showers were reported along the NT northern coastline as the convergence zone to the east of the cyclone continued to be active. A weak trough moving through southeastern WA late this evening gave some heavy rain. Eucla Airport recorded 34mm in the hour to 11pm. Temperatures from central southern NSW to northern SA were again up to 10 above average today.
