NEWSBITS: Widespread storms in southern WA
A transient low pressure centre that formed in a weak trough down the WA coast brought morning thunderstorms from the Central West to the Great Southern. The storms became scattered and moved inland during the day, though with the exception of 19mm falling at Wandering in the hills SE of Perth, there were no significant falls of rain.
