NEWSBITS: Windy, cold and wet in SW WA
NEWSBITS: Strong SW winds swept across SW WA in the wake of a cold front, bringing heavy showers and a cold day. Cunderdin had a heavy hail and rain shower mid-afternoon yielding 10.6mm in an hour, while at Southern Cross the temperature only just made double digits, with a maximum of 10.0°. Squally winds produced a gust of 106km/h just after 8am.
