Light snow on NSW Tablelands
Widespread fog in NSW, VIC

The cold but very dry airstream sweeping SE Australia brought light snowfalls to the NSW tablelands early this morning. Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, SW of Canberra and Oberon SE of Bathurst both reported overnight snow, while snow also fell south of Glen Innes on the Northern Tablelands. In the Ben Lomond area, it was heavy enough to settle.

Widespread fog was reported from southern NSW and western VIC this morning. Visibility was below 100m at many locations, and freezing fog was reported from Corowa. The fog did not lift until late morning in some locations.
