Storms bring flash flooding in Central QLD, hail in NSW

Heavy storm falls produced flash flooding again around Peak Downs in the Capella Shire, 150km SW of Mackay. One vehicle was swept away by floodwaters and another had to be abandonned on a flooded roadway. In NSW, hail to 6.5cm diameter was reported 25km S of Dubbo, while golfball sized hail was reported from Coonamble. 3cm diameter hail damaged cars at Mt Horeb, 20km SSW of Gundagai.
