Second cold outbreak enters Victoria
The second outbreak of cold southern air in a week entered Victoria today, though not as substantial as last weekend's polar airmass. A heavy thunderstorm at Cape Otway announced the cold front's arrival on the mainland, and temperatures dropped to between 2 and 6 below normal in fresh westerly winds as the front travelled eastwards across Victoria and NSW.
