Descriptions of weather events are written, when possible, a few days after the
event to give time for accurate information to become available. However, weather events may be written into the Daily Weather Summary weeks, months or even years after the event as new information is found - or as the time to write it becomes available!
Events
are classed as major, newsworthy or significant. indicates an international weather event.
Please note that no descriptions of weather events have been written for many days in 2010. Use the links to each day at left for all daily data and charts.
