QLD: High rainfall totals accumulating south of Cairns

Showers along the northern tropical coast between Townsville and Cairns eased today after giving a small section of the coast around Babinda and Innisfail over 100mm over the past three days. Some unusually high April totals are accumulating in this area. Month-to-date totals to 9 this morning included Menavale Alert 491, Babinda PO 507 and Topaz Alert 601mm.
