NSW, VIC: Ski season off to a bumper start

Continuing cold conditions, several heavy falls and regular top-ups have contributed to an excellent start to the skiing season at NSW and VIC resorts. Reported snow depths are up to double those for the same time last year. Depths (in centimetres) reported today were:

QLD: Moderate flooding continues in the Paroo

A flood peak bringing moderate flooding continues to move slowly down the Paroo River in SW QLD towards the NSW Border at Hungerford. The river peaked at Caiwarro last night at 2.4m.
