Strong winds from storms in VIC

Storms cause damage in NSW

Late afternoon storms damaged roofs and brought down trees at Wanaaring in NW NSW while storms during the night caused similar damage around Batemans Bay on the South Coast. Montague Island reported a wind gust of 115km/h.

Strong winds from storms in VIC

Severe thunderstorms in the eastern half of VIC brought widespread strong to storm force wind gusts including 95km/h at Albury, 100 at Mt Hotham summit, 93 at Falls Creek and 91 at Mt Buller.
