14.7 above average, while Port Augusta, Kyancutta, Tarcoola, Marree and Whyalla
in SA and White Cliffs and
Menindee in western NSW all recorded 37 or a little above. Rosevale, 50km
NE of Adelaide, topped out at 35.6, 12.7 above. A grass fire between Arthurton
and Kulpara on the Yorke Peninsula kept about 60 CFS volunteers busy as it
burnt through about 30ha.
