Isolated downpours in eastern NSW

Isolated downpours in eastern NSW

Isolated thunderstorms produced some respectable rainfall figures in eastern NSW this evening. Merimbula on the far South Coast recorded 23.2mm in the hour to 7pm for a 3-hour to 9pm total of 31mm. Taree on the Mid North Coast registered 18mm in a storm before 6pm, 12.6mm falling in 22 minutes from 5pm.
