Fires flare again in SE QLD

Fires flare again in SE QLD

Warm temperatures and blustery winds around the passage of a trough caused fires to flare in SE QLD again today. Firefighters fought blazes at Mango Hill and Bribie Island to the north of Brisbane and at Woodford, west of Caboolture. On the Gold Coast, at least 8 homes were threatened by a blaze at Mudgeeraba. On Saturday, a fire at Coomera, also on the Gold Coast, threatened a service station.
