Low temperatures continue in the Outback

Low temperatures continue in the Outback

Central Australia and surrounding areas continue to experience unusually cold days and nights. Much of northern SA, western NSW, western QLD, southern NT and parts of the north of WA reported maximum temperatures today between 8 and 11 below the September average with readings in the Centre barely making it to 20°. Marla, in northern SA 400km south of Alice Springs, recorded its coldest September morning in 20 years of record with a minimum of -0.5, 11.3 below average.
