Heavy showers on QLD Sunshine Coast

Heavy showers on QLD Sunshine Coast

A surface trough lying NW/SE across QLD and extending out to sea across the Sunshine Coast gave this area isolated heavy showers early this morning. Maroochydore Airport recorded 30mm in 30 minutes to 1am for a 24 hour total of 38mm. The showers, which developed around the coast late Monday evening moved out to sea around 4am.
