Further cold records fall in northern NSW

Temperature departures from normal today: mimumum (above) and maximum (below). BoM

The cold southern airmass coupled with clear skies again to set record low October minimum temperatures in NSW this morning. Brewarrina, which broke its 33-year October minimum record two days ago, eclipsed it again this morning with a reading of 4.2C. Coonamble also sheared 0.4 from its 38-year record with a low of 1.8.
